Description of the role

This exciting new Ecommerce Project Manager role will wrap defined project structures around a variety of projects, and holds a number of responsibilities, including:

  • Establishing a new centralised Project Management function within Wolfson Brands, setting up new processes and systems
  • Project management across a wide variety of exciting ecommerce projects 
  • Building project teams and defining responsibilities 
  • Working with product owners across Wolfson Brands to ensure delivery of projects in an agile manner
  • Working closely to support stakeholders in working in an agile manner and training team members in a variety of areas such as the creation of user stories
  • Resolving blockers raised by the project team
  • Organising project work in timeboxed intervals with a focus on delivering 
  • Preparing project documentation, in collaboration with colleagues across the business 
  • Maintaining excellent lines of communication across all relevant teams 
  • Risk management and contingency 
  • Managing and reporting progress against plans to the business

We are not using a specific Agile methodology such as Scrum however we are looking for someone with relevant Agile qualifications and a good understanding of the core agile principles, i.e.

  • Agile DSDM
  • PMI-ACP
  • APMG Agile PM Practitioner
  • ICAgile Certified ICP-ATF

In addition, the following attributes are key for this role: 

  • Experience of launching new brands in the Health and Wellness space
  • Significant project management and leadership experience 
  • An excellent aptitude for collaboration with cross functional teams 
  • Excellent time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects at once
  • Communication skills which are second to none

Please note that applicants for this role can be based anywhere in the UK, although there will be the requirement to travel to Glasgow for onsite collaboration, team meetings and development. 

Salary: £50,000 to £55,000
