Digital Features Editor
Description of the role
- Pitch and write opinion pieces as they come up, as well as a set number of reported features per month.
- Devise and implement editorial calendar across MuscleandHealth.com
- Compose stand alone trending features on Muscle, Health and Wealth
- Develop the digital features calendar for each Muscle & Health magazine edition, briefing in interview questions to Muscle & Health editor ahead of celebrity interviews
- Work alongside Head of Content to deliver features based on content calendar and business objectives
- Work effectively and fluidly in a digital environment with tight deadlines
- Juggle multiple projects, ideas and deadlines hitting deadlines 100% of the time
- Master Muscle and Health tone of voice whilst writing to scale
- Remain highly plugged in to internet trends/the news cycle and what’s starting to pop in Muscle, Health and Wealth on social before it goes wide

2+ years experience writing at a professional website
A track record reporting and experience writing highly trafficked work
A whiz at recognising online trends and mining social media for content ideas
An understanding and ideally experience within the Health and Fitness space
Versatility in writing style and ability to write in both personal and objective tones
Experience with analytics/SEO tools and content management systems, or a deep willingness to learn.
Salary: Up to £30 000
